2024 Montana Elections
In addition to voting in the presidential contest between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, voters in Montana will cast ballots for the state’s two congressional districts. Voters will also cast a ballot for one of the state’s two Senate seats. The Montana Senate race is between Democrat Jon Tester, the incumbent, and Republican Tim Sheehy. It is one of the most closely watch races in the country as Republicans hope to unseat an incumbent Democrat in their bid to take control of the Senate. There are also statewide contests for state government offices. The Montana gubernatorial race is between Republican Greg Gianforte, the incumbent, and Democrat Ryan Busse. The attorney general contest in Montana is between Republican Austin Knudsen, the incumbent, and Democrat Ben Alke. Voters here will also decide a ballot referendum.
