West Virginia President Results 2024: Trump wins
Donald Trump has won the West Virginia contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s four Electoral College votes. The conservative state voted to back Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won West Virginia with 69% of the vote to Biden’s 30%. In 2016, Trump won West Virginia with 69% to Hillary Clinton’s 27%. While West Virginia has a record of backing both Democratic and Republican presidential candidates over the years; the last Democrat to win the state was Bill Clinton in 1996.
