Kamala Harris has won the Oregon contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s eight Electoral College votes. In 2020, Biden won Oregon with 57% of the vote to Trump’s 40%. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won Oregon with 52% to Trump’s 41%. In a reliably blue state in presidential elections, the Democratic Party controls the governor’s office and both chambers of the state Legislature.
