Louisiana House District 1 General Election Results 2024
Louisiana holds open elections without a partisan primary. If a candidate gets 50% of the vote, they are declared the winner. If not, the top two candidates go to a runoff. In the 1st Congressional District, five candidates will be on the ballot: Republican Steve Scalise, the incumbent; Republican Randall Arrington; Republican Ross Shales; Democrat Mel Manuel; and Frankie Hyers, who has no party affiliation.
