Lawrence on Romney's RNC performance

While accepting the Republican presidential nomination on Thursday, Mitt Romney promised to steer Americans to a brighter and more prosperous future, past the “disappointments” under President Obama.

"I wish President Obama had succeeded because I want America to succeed. But his promises gave way to disappointment and division," Romney said during his speech to the RNC in Tampa, Florida. "This isn't something we have to accept. Now is the moment when we can do something. With your help we will do something."
