No Labels, the third-party organization attempting to assemble a presidential ticket in 2024, has officially gained ballot access in Mississippi, the group said in a statement to NBC News.
“Today is another step forward to give a voice to America’s commonsense majority and to give voters a choice they so clearly want in the 2024 election,” the organization said.
The organization has now gained ballot access in 12 states. The other states are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, and Utah.
No Labels also continues to be involved with litigation around its ballot access efforts. Just last week, No Labels filed a lawsuit against the state of Arizona, where the organization is fighting over whether it would have to accept candidates looking to run on its party line in other races. The group has said it only wants to put forward a presidential candidate in 2024.
In an NBC News poll conducted in September, in a three-way match-up between President Biden and former President Trump, an unnamed No Labels candidate received 5% of the vote.
