Amazon.com Inc. and drugstore.com inc. are ending a partnership in which the online pharmacy fulfilled some orders for Amazon.com.

The partnership will end Nov. 9, although Amazon.com will maintain its approximately 14 percent investment in drugstore.com.

Bellevue, Wash.-based drugstore.com said it made the decision to end the partnership because the deal only accounted for a small portion of its sales, at low margins.
