President Barack Obama will continue to press his ideas on how best to reduce the nation's debt on Tuesday.

He'll discuss his thoughts in a series of White House interviews with local TV stations from Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit and Norfolk, Va.

In the afternoon, the president will hold two Oval Office meetings with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates. The two leaders will discuss the strong ties between the United States and the UAE and the nations' common strategic interests in the Mideast.

The UAE is a key ally in the Gulf and has been hosting talks between representatives of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh opposition groups seeking his ouster.
