Celebrities coming to St. Regis for charity fundraiser

Sugar Ray Leonard will be among honorees at Sept. 11 event featuring former 'American Idol' singers and 'Sopranos' actors.

Boxing championSugar Ray Leonard, three former "American Idol" contestants and six former cast members of "The Sopranos" are among the celebrities scheduled to appear Sept. 11 at the second annual "Life Changing Lives" gala at theSt. Regis Monarch Beachresort in Dana Point. Proceeds from the event will go to theWounded Warrior Project,Make-A-Wish Foundationand Orange County/Inland EmpireBoys & Girls Clubs.

The inaugural Life Changing Lives raised close to $1 million last year and honored sports legendsJohn Elway,Dave WinfieldandTony Hawk.
