Why it's a deal: A recent Kayak search produced a $137 round-trip flight in mid-July (Northwest). For $36 more, this package includes airfare as well as two nights' accommodations and all taxes.

Lodging: You'll stay at the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel has a pool, a classic car collection worth $100 million on display, six restaurants and a spa.

If you're an amateur gambler, the casino offers weekday classes in blackjack, craps and roulette. You might also spot a Dolly Parton or Elvis impersonator dealing cards on the floor.

More: Upgrade to the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino from $27 per person. Add nights at the Imperial from $42 per person.

Before you go: Note that airport-hotel transfers are not included. A taxi ride will cost between $10 and $15, or you could add transfers through Pleasant Holidays from $14 per person. If you're renting a car, the Imperial provides complimentary valet parking.
