JetBlue spokeswoman Alison Eshelman says Flight 1191 carrying about 30 passengers took off about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday for Nantucket, Mass.

She says the Embraer 190 returned to Kennedy Airport 20 minutes later.

Eshelman says the aircraft has been taken out of service and is being examined to determine the source of the odor.
