Trip details: The Montreal Tourism Board's Sweet Deal package has returned for the fall: Stay one night at a participating hotel from $127 per room and pay half-price ($64 and up) for the second night.
Travelers who book the package will also receive nourishing hand butter from Fruits & Passion, valued at about $20; two Passport Privileges coupons for Casino de Montreal, valued at about $40; and a discount card and gift with a purchase of $75 or more at one of the Sh3pping centers.
The 25 participating properties range from the modest Quality Inn Downtown, which has the lowest rate at $127, to the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain at $229. Some hotels throw in extras like hot chocolate, valet parking, or a room upgrade.
