Lake Odessa students send banner to healing soldiers

LAKE ODESSA -- A special gift is on its way to wounded soldiers in Germany, courtesy of some West Michigan students.

Wednesday, children at Lakewood Middle School in Lake Odessa signed a banner to be brought to troops recovering at an army hospital.

Sixth grader Lars Pryzinski and his parents are traveling to Germany Friday and will deliver the banner on Monday.

The banner was donated by a local company.
