With 96 percent of precincts reporting, Conway has 199,620, or 72 percent of the vote, to Assistant Attorney General Robert Bullock's 78,080, or 28 percent.

Lee, a conservative legislator from Lexington, received 64,916 votes, or 42 percent with 96 percent of precincts reporting. State prosecutor Tim Coleman had 47,926 votes, or 31 percent; Louisville lawyer Philip Kimball had 20,734 votes, or 14 percent, and Lexington attorney Jon Larson had 20,335 votes, or 13 percent.

Attorney General Greg Stumbo's decision to opt out of a second term as the state's top law official and enter the Kentucky governor's race created a wide-open primary.
