President Bush may have another fight on his hands over judicial nominees -- one that conservatives may like.
He is pushing the Senate to confirm five nominees as federal appeals court judges. Democrats have previously threatened a filibuster to block at least one of the nominees, Terrence Boyle, of North Carolina.
Bush made the announcement at a fund-raiser in Nashville, Tennessee.
A spokesman for Democratic Senate leader Harry Reid of Nevada, called the judicial nominations "extremely divisive."
Bush's picks for the federal bench have stirred contentious debate in the Senate.
