Shane Bishop has spent much of his career covering mysteries on the blue highways like the ones he grew up on in rural Montana. So, when word came that two children were missing in eastern Idaho, he already knew the area and some of the most plugged-in people working the case. Shane’s been a producer at Dateline since 1994. He and his wife Anna have six kids, one grandson, and twin grandchildren on the way.

Vince Sturla has been a producer with Dateline since 1997. Vince’s contacts in Hawaii helped Dateline track down the couple at the center of Mommy Doomsday. Before joining Dateline, Vince was with CNN, KCRA-TV in Sacramento and a smattering of other, short-lived newsmagazine shows. Vince has worked in all aspects of broadcast news coverage, from editing and shooting, to reporting and producing. He is a proud graduate of the Coastal School of Deep Sea Diving in Oakland, California and spent six years as a commercial deep-sea diver.
