Kristi Johnson’s life was just starting.

The 21-year-old was living near Los Angeles, the city of a million dreams, ready to make her own dreams come true.

On February 15, 2003, Kristi headed to the Century City Mall to do some shopping.

She met somebody there.

A man who offered her an opportunity: an audition to appear in a Bond movie.

And so, that same day, Kristi drove her car up the winding confusion of narrow roads in the Hollywood Hills towards the audition.

She got lost, but came upon Douglas Kirkland, a renowned Hollywood photographer, and his wife, Francoise, who gave her directions.

That encounter was the last time anyone other than her killer would see Kristi alive…
