Families come together in times of trouble.
That was true of Jasmine “Jazzy” Pace’s family.
When Jazzy’s great-grandmother was dying, for example, they banded together.
They rallied around her.
Offered her love till the end.
The end came two days before Thanksgiving 2022.
The family decided to hold Thanksgiving anyway -- to be together, just as “Granny” would have wanted.
But the next day, a text from Jazzy’s phone said she wasn’t coming anymore.
That was unlike her, but her family thought maybe she just needed space.
Then the 22-year-old stopped answering calls.
Worried, the family came together again.
This time, it was to try to bring Jazzy home.
