In the fall of 2023, Colorado mother Kristil Krug was getting more and more worried.
She had been receiving text messages that were getting increasingly more intense. They started out as insulting and offensive, then turned more violent, darker.
It was evident Kristil was being stalked. And the stalker was targeting her husband, too.
She reported the stalking to Broomfield police, but by the time they identified her stalker — it was too late.
Kristil had been murdered. And the investigation that followed was confounding…
