Shannon Madill was all about her next role. She believed her big break was right around the corner.
In fact, in November 2014, she’d just taped an exciting audition for a role in a new TV series.
She was a feisty and quirky free spirit, always the center of attention, and passionate about performing.

But according to Shannon’s family, it wasn’t unlike her to flake out or disappear.
So no one was surprised when they didn’t hear back from Shannon after that big audition. Even when she didn’t show up to a planned dinner a couple days later, her brother wasn’t worried.
Finally, her husband provided an answer— he texted that Shannon had booked a role 200 miles away, and had driven there with a friend.
But when days turned to weeks and then to months, Shannon’s family just knew something was wrong.
And they were right.
